The Egyptian goddess Hathor was worshiped in the viewing of a cow. Later, she was then represented as a women, and had a head of a cow. There were other times when she had a human head. Hathor sometimes had ears or horns of a cow when she had the human head.

Joy, motherhood, and love are what the Egyptian goddess, Hathor, represented. In that time she was considered the goddess of moisture too. She also was the Lady of heaven. It was sometimes known that she was seen by the people in the form of a cow standing in a boat with tall papyrus reeds around her. There was also times when people saw her with a head of a cow coming from a mountainside. Hathor's parent's were Nut and Ra. During this time in Ancient Egypt, she was married to Ra. Hathor was also the mother of Ihy.

I would make a temple to Hathor that would be made out of marble stone. It would also be in the shape of a pyramid, or a three-dimensional triangle. This pyramid would be a place that Hathor would appreciate. In this marble pyramid there would be different rooms. In each of the rooms there would be drawings all over the walls. The drawings would be of Hathor and all of the different things that she represented. Hathor would be placed in the room with murals all around her. She would be placed in a casket made from gold. With her would be prized possessions of her own. For example, she would have jewelry and things that represented her with her. During this I would use carving tools, painting tools, and many others. Through many rooms and hallways there would be many special carvings or statues in this pyramid. There would be one carving of Hathor in the temple. There also would be carvings of her family and friends so that they will always be with her. This temple or pyramimid that I would make for Hathor, would have a lot of color, it would not be a dull looking pyramid or temple. All of the murals would have bright bulging colors, and the carvings would be painted to have an effect too. This Temple where Hathor would be buried would be very special. There would be many good things about this temple that I would give Hathor. I think Hathor would appreciate this if she actully knew what it would look like!
